CHN Energy Wuhai Branch’s Intelligent Test System Put into Use
On February 10, an intelligent test system was successfully put into use at the Quality Management Center of CHN Energy Wuhai Branch. The system can further achieve full-process automated operations of coal sampling, preparation and test, so as to empower the development of intelligent mining. The intelligent test system adopts technologies such as industrial robotics, robot application, and non-standard machine automation to strengthen coal standard testing. It uses robots and automatic equipment to directly or indirectly imitate the testing operation process of human laboratorians, achieves seamless connection with the front-end systems such as automatic sampling and preparation and sample bottle storage, and complete automatic industrial coal analysis, namely, the automatic analysis of ash, water, total sulfur, and volatile content as well as calorific value, hydrocarbon and nitrogen indicators of coal samples. After the testing process, the system can automatically perform crucible cleaning and post-burning recycling, thus achieving unmanned operations throughout the testing process.
