Asia's Longest Ecological Fishway Outlet Commenced Grouting
Recently, the ecological fishway outlet of Daduhe Jinchuan Hydropower Station under CHN Energy officially started grouting, marking the beginning of the construction of Asia's longest ecological fishway.
The natural river section of the ecological fishway
Daduhe Jinchuan Hydropower Station is located in Jinchuan County and Barkam City, in Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, with an altitude of about 2,100 meters. It planned to build an ecological fishway with a total length of 5.02 kilometers by combining long natural tributary river with a long-distance tunnel, so as to facilitate fish migration upstream. It is Asia’s longest fish passage that blends an artificial tunnel and a section of a natural river, of which the Xinzhagou natural river section is about four kilometers long and the artificial tunnel is 1.02 kilometers long.
In order to ensure the safe construction of the outlet section of the fishway tunnel, Daduhe Jinchuan Company managed to reduce the impact of the excavation of the outlet of the fishway tunnel on the entrance section of the Ribean Liangzi Tunnel of a reconstructed highway in the reservoir area.
